About Mental Health

What is Mental Health?

Mental health is more than just the absence of mental illness. Mental health means having a general sense of well-being and being able to reach your potential. It means you can cope with life’s normal stresses, work productively, and participate in community life.

Recovery

Mental health recovery is a process of healing and transformation that allows you to live a full and meaningful life. How this happens is unique for everyone. Some things that can aid recovery include access to the right supports, information and education about mental health.
